nztrials
Hey mate i was getting the same pains you speak of a while ago when i started learning manuals, so i started stretching my hamstrings before and after riding and my back is fine now. Hope this works for you
Tioz
Or perhaps you need higher bars and stem
trialin
It sucks...I hurt my lumbar or sacrum by over stretching last Sat. Warm up, waist twists also hamstrings stretchings I've done before getting on bike, so? Ans: Avoidless Lowback Pains. Fianlly I went to traditional Chinese medicine for massage and accupuncture treatment, thats really works, but I still fear for tiny pins and the goatie doctor. It's totally a disaster... :$ Now my ride is set with 110/20 stem, I'll get 100/35 after recovery. Edited July 1, 2011 by trialin
Luke Dunstan
Same here, 23 and had few years out. Started riding mod, then moved to stock and both really hurt my back. Moved to a longer frame and hey presto, no back pain. You don't have to change frame though, bar/stem set-up can help loads. EDIT: Forgot, I'm now 24...not that it matters.
