trialsiain
Just now i am using a continental mountain king protection on the rear. I have been looking at the Michelin Wild Rock'r Reinforced tyre on tarty and just wondering if they have good grip and bounce compared to conti. thanks iain
Canardweb
More or less the same grip, so not good... The bounce is pretty good but then again more or less to the same than the conti, so not that good...
Mikee
I am using them now but I can't compare them to continentals. Grip isn't the best I have used but they are by far not the worst. They are shite though on wet concrete slabs like paths and pavements I found. Bounce ain't bad but again not the best. For the price and weight though I say they are worth it. Make sure they will fit your frame though. They are pretty wide.

Canardweb
what tyre do you reccomend then Try-All lites if you can afford them, but if you can't, get the old ones. Heavy but awesome on all sides! And Middle range is Kenda Nevegal 2,5 at 890 grams and front Kenda Karma at 400 grams.
Ali C
I have to disagree about the old version of the rear try-all. It's heavy but still punctures, for the same weight (or lighter) you could get a conti rain king which can't be beaten for grip or stability. If you are after lighter tyres, then yeah, the newer try-all lite is pretty sweet and so are single ply Maxxis high rollers, but they still don't have a patch on the Rain King for grip! Yes the COntinental Der Kaiser and Rain King are still the best tires I have use up to date but what I meant for the old version of the try-all tires is that they are awesome for the price they are worth now. Compared to the Michelin of course

Ali C
Kenda have pretty poor grip, I think a Maxxis High Roller 2.5 super tacky is the next best after the Rain King

AndrewG
go for rain king/der kaiser. they are pretty expensive but wow! this is what I´m calling tyre ! bounce is great and I´m only 75kg and you really can´t have puncture with this tire with standart tube
Ash-Kennard
ive been using a der kaiser too, ive only ever really used maxxis on the back, and now i think maxxis is dead weight in comparison, they are really great tyres, incredible grip, not punctured yet, very bouncy yet stable. only downside is ive seen a fair amount of wear on the tyre and for something that cost over 50 quid i want it to last
