Laurence--Trials
I Love that idea, would like to see a video of it working, wonder how powerful (or not) it is.. I rode the first couple of versions of this brake for over 2 years then went back to maguras and echos for about 1 yeah then V's for about half a year. Nothing beats this brake! Maintenance is nothing, ridiculously powerful in any weather oil/shit what ever you have on the disc it still works. Yes I do smash the hell out of it quite a bit if im rough but it can hangle a lot of abuse. No big deal to give it a tweak with your hand every few weeks if youre unlucky. The rim stays a lot straighter with the disc mounted. Adds 305grams over my echo setup. Edited June 23, 2011 by Laurence--Trials
davidbarr
The power would be amazing, but surely that's far too low to the ground?
Scott Gibbs
Buell have been using this setup on the front of their motorbikes for years. It has pros and cons. Be interesting to see how it copes on a trials bike. 305g more weight on the back end of a bike will be a huge issue for weight weenies!!! I would imagine there will be alot of rotor flex.
