Miles Mallinson
Dude, get that shit medically cleaned out, or it'll go f**king septic! Got it cleaned out the day I did it, this nurse just attacked it with a wire brush and some fluid how bad is it? looks really awfull don't like knee injuries always scared to fecked up my knee and not being able to ride for long Its not as bad now the swelling has gone down, it hurt quite alot for the first few days and I couldn't bend my knee but now I'm fine. Will be out for another 2 weeks but I'll just build stuff to ride. The stitches are coming out of it tonight aswell. Miles Mallinson
nah its just a flesh wound thankfully, nothing is effected below it so hopefully there won't be any long term damage but you never really know with knee's. Miles Mallinson
Having to get it redressed pretty much everyday now. It smelt abit minging the other day at the hospital, they gave me some antibiotics and that seemed to of sorted it. I've been riding almost properly now, my knee feels pretty good and I can walk fine again. An annoying thing about getting it redressed so often is that everytime they change the dressing type like I'll get comfortable in one dressing then they go and change it to a different one. Rusevelt
With such a big open wound like that, it has to be redressed virtually everyday to reduce the risk of infection.
Miles Mallinson
I don't mind them redressing it everyday but I'd much prefere if they just used the same type of dressing.
