KNOBIS!
Hi all, As most of you probably know i am a complete knobis and this is my first experience with magura rim brakes. My problem is that only the the left pad moves onto the rim normally.. the right hand pad doesnt move when you pull the lever and is rubbing slightly. How do i fix this? Thanks, Aaron. JD™
Make sure that when you set them up you've got the TPA wound so that the pads are as far back into the cylinder as possible, then make sure they are an equal distance away from the rim and that your rim is true. If you still have an issue of one pad moving before the other, you may have a lazy piston - do a search on how to fix that.
jacksnell95
also you might want to think about upgrading to a better pair of pads as my friend has a mad phase 1.2 and the pads are terrible and aslo you might want to think about getting a grind asap!
