JD™
My hobby is being social - getting hooked up with as many mates as possible as many days of the week is great, as is spending my days with clients or being social on their behalf. Hobby as job = good. I suppose I could count being on TF as a 'hobby' of sorts too - let's face it, I'm on basically all the time... I'm also a big fan of tinkering. When something breaks I'll always try to fix it myself before I get any other assistance. The girlfriend also reckons I imagine things are broken just so I can take them apart... Matthew62
Graphic Design - whilst it's me job an all - it ain't one of those jobs thats just a job so i'm often doing that in my free time. Illustration - although i find it stressful i like to draw. Read - books is good for you cus they makes you clever. I'm in an Ernest hemingway trap at the moment. Music - i play a few instruments and i like to make sweet ass music whenever, however and with whoever i can, when i can, however i can, if i can. (This also includes listening to other peopls music often) Screen printing - reviving something i did a few years back and am rekindling currently. Photography - i shoot snaps, some of which can be considered almost good. MTB'ing - cus theres more than just those trials bikes out there. Love getting out in the woods when i can. Love making - getting pretty good at that now, especially with others.
Jake Beach
We've probably had this chat before, but what do you sail? Dont think we have, but I sail a Laser 4.7, but thats because im a lightweight and an official Radial is about £500.
dann2707
Recently started gymming it - trying to get a bit wider, bigger arms and put on weight. Tinkering with cars - currently in the middle of a bigger engine conversion on my little metro. Auto-detailing - brings together my OCD antics and love for cleaning cars. Being a LAD - Out partying and socialising alot lately, although I don't actually spend that much on alcohol compared to some friends. Get some weight in you and put a real sail on it I sail an Rs500 occasionally with my mate Jon, but we're looking to sell that for a 2005 rules Cherub, and i've got a Moth to play with when i'm feeling athletic/ stupid. Jake Beach
Haha, sail a full rig in about 3 knots of wind, but anything over 18/19 knots I die in my 4.7. Is the moth you sail a foiling one? Guy at my club sails a bladerider, faster than a 49er! Would love to do some double handed stuff, but in nearly too old to race Feva's as a junior. Captain Scarlet
Work - I work in a car auto spares which also does just about every thing I'm interested in or have been interested in (model cars, bikes, kites etc). Small workplace with only 5 members of staff including myself, love the atmosphere and the work load, happily get up and do it everyday as I have done on and off for 4 years (due to education commitments), so it's easily as much as a hobby as it is work. Gym/Bodybuilding - I've slowed down on this since being home from uni, but being at uni I got really routinal and managed to go at least 3 times a week. Film making - Again this sometimes requires a bit of motivation, gone are the days when I used to be able to make a film every weekend, but I still have ideas buzzing around my head for trials videos, documentary videos, etc. It's also what I study at uni so naturally it has to be a hobby for me. Automobiles and the road - I hold a car and bike licence, and thoroughly enjoy both vehicles so I'm a real petrol head, always looking at my next vehicle to buy even though it may be a year or so away. I'm also really keen on learning as much as the highway code as possible, observing other peoples driving whilst I'm driving or riding, it stops me from going insane. I did all the circuit int hem a few years a go, came 16th at the Worlds in Italy in 2005 and was reppin' the national squad back when it was full of the cool kids My moth's a low rider at the moment, but i've got a plan and a rudder from a Mk1 Fastacraft Prowler, so it'll b fully foiling next year if i have the balls to convert it! I've sailed a few foilers, mine's probably harder to live wwith than any of those - 300mm at the waterline it's f**king unstable!

Yeah, one of the guys at my club sails Feva worlds, went out in it with him on Sunday, put the spinnaker up and hiking and nearly fell out, loved it! It's meant to be slower than my 4.7 but no way could I beat it with the kite up

Pete.M
Seems like a worthy thread to bump whilst the weather sucks. I used to play a bit of piano, but then trials came along and I lost interest. Playing computer games doesn't interest me much either, unless it's a really good racing game. Really struggling to find something else to do.

TrialsIsHard
I play loads of rugby, so I've kinda got myself into being as fit/strong as I can whilst still being light. As I get lifted in the lineouts, they would complain if I was heavy! So I'd say rugby and fitness were my hobbies and also playing DiRT 3, love that game!
