Matt Vandart
Anyone know where I can get a decent set?

krazykid009
Go on CRC and look at the FireEye Excelerants... On offer at the moment and great rims. I use them as well as another Bristol rider. James
craigjames
Myself and Luke rainbird picked up a new set of spank wins for 18 quid posted. Seen pretty good from all the feedback I've seen on them.
Mark W
They'd probably be the Spank Stiffee AL-40s. Good rims, but not ideal if you're a weight weenie - they're around 850g per rim or something like that. The new Inspired 2011 Team Rims in black look pimp though... chris4stars
new Inspired 2011 Team Rims in black look pimp though... hurray...was a tad disappointed when i thought the team rims only came in white, think ive found my new set on a side note, surely the atomlabs are an ok choice aswell? attitude bikes tend to use them on a alot of their custom 24" builds, aswell as the other obvious rider... Mark W
Personally I'd prefer some wider rims. Tried some 30mm Spank rims before and wasn't keen.
Sam Nichols
Inspired Pros look pretty slick too. I'm struggling to do much damage to mine too, even though I'm not the most gentle of riders!
Matthew62
DMR DV24s have done me well. Not the prettiest of rims but they sure is good. I'd probably go for Atomlabs myself next as thewy're prettier. Don't like holes in 24" rims and i reckon they should be eyeletted so makes trials rim a no-go. Luke Rainbird
They're around 850g per rim or something like that. 700g a rim when I checked on arrival - not too bad for a bombproof 40mm rim
Scott Gibbs
Im a big advocate of sun rhino lites. Used them before and loved them super light too at a tad over 500g. Although alot of riders dont like their narrow profile. Dmr dv's are good too ran a set of them too.
1a2bcio8
If you want something that will last then, spank stifees all the way. They've repeatedly help up after other rims failed on the same stuff. Also, as mentioned, they are super wide which is a bonus. They are less than half price on CRC. craigjames
And if weight is an issue, get the drill out or ride a proper bouncy trials bike

Seen pretty good from all the feedback I've seen on them. Where from? 700g a rim when I checked on arrival - not too bad for a bombproof 40mm rim Any ideas what the ERD is? Also, what tyres you rekon? DMR Moto? Edited June 16, 2011 by Matt Vandart
Mark W
474. Haven't really found the lack of eyelets a problem on any of my bikes. Don't think I've ever pulled a spoke through before.
Solasaurous
crc. Sun Ringle Rhynolite XL Welded rims, solid and with eyelits and great rims. Cheap, £20 for a 32H Very nice rims, don't go for Ns Trailmasters as the nipples rip out.
