netto
Just received my new Sony HX9v this morning, and thought I'd take it out on a little test shoot. Unfortunately, the shots came out slightly more overexposed than what was shown on the camera display. The lack of manual control also means that the shots need to be better planned out.I am extremely impressed with this camera's video capabilities. The 1080 60p format is great, and the integrated stereo mic seems better than the 5d mk2 and the 60d I used. For just under $400, this is a great secondary camera to the 5d mk2. If you need to have shots that don't require DOF effect, I'd argue that this camera is even better than any Canon HDSLR

foxinsocks
Im curious - which software do u use to edit the slow motion stuff? I usually edit vids on the iMovie. It makes nice clips rather quickly, but falls short when it comes to video quality.
