Solasaurous
Hey guys, quick question. What do you find wears out the most on your bike? i.e. tyres, or chain just so I have an idea on what is a priority I guess. Sol

J.KYDD
Grips - I use road bike bar wrap so out of one pack i'll get around 4 pairs. Replace each wrap every 2-3 weeks Chains - I replace mine every 10-12 weeks, never let them get to the stage where they'll snap Tyres - Soft compound, wear pretty fast
TrialsIsHard
brake pads, if you get the wrong pads which i do a lot!
Solasaurous
This also comes to another point, why do people buy chunky tyres and cut some of the knobbles or tread off? I mean, if you don't want to much knobbles get some different tyres? I was just wondering,

J.KYDD
This also comes to another point, why do people buy chunky tyres and cut some of the knobbles or tread off? I mean, if you don't want to much knobbles get some different tyres? I was just wondering, Sheds weight and actually gives you more grip. Its usually every other side knobble on tyres such as Kenda Nevegals and Maxxis Minnions. Edited June 12, 2011 by J.KYDD

Miles Mallinson
For me its grinds, not that my rim doesn't hold it well its just nothing really wears out on my bike for some reason maybe because I have mostly mountain bike parts. Matthew62
If anyone says frames then they need to seriously reconsider either their riding style or frame choice. I don't think it can ever be acceptable for a frame to wear about before a pair of grips or a set of tyres.
