Gaz96
Was thinking of getting a camera to film and take a few snaps over the summer, only problem I have no idea what to get! Not wanting to spend much, but something with decent quality pictures and films, nothing fancy though! So any recommendations? It needs to be able to upload on a normal laptop without it slowing and crashing! But I doubt that can happen with a reasonably cheap camera? Are the flip HD camera's any good? Help much appreciated, thanks Edited June 11, 2011 by Gaz96
Agram
i think a canon 1000 d http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/canoneos1000d/ might do the trick..or u could get a samsung galaxy s 2 http://www.techradar.com/reviews/phones/mobile-phones/samsung-galaxy-s2-930907/review -it takes excellent 1080p and 720 p videos and has a very good 8 MP camera.(its acctually more of a PC really) They cost around a 1000 US $ each i think.. AS for the flip HD cams i think they r ok as long u dont expect real HD videos on a big screen ..but they r sufficient for a tight budget(500 US$) and some even make acceptable hd vids E.g: http://www.pcworld.com/shopping/detail/prtprdid,848476560-sortby,retailer/pricing.html "HD" vid: Well,I hope that helped a little.. Sam T
Try to get something with a rechargable battery. The little Kodak playsports are good. Check out My link for some decent ones.
Krisboats
What sort of spec is the laptop? If you don't want it to slow and crash HD video may not be for you. The laptop is the deciding factor really.
