dannytrialskid
Recently snapped my rear axle during a ride. I have wanted to go Dual Disc for a long, long time, so it was quite ironic for my axle to snap. Also ridden two of my friends bikes with dual disc and loved it so much, that I rode their bikes for the rest of the day! Anyway, I got my new rear disc hub, some black spokes and a Hope Tech Trial rear disc brake. Thanks to Tartybikes for their amazing service and delivering everything next day Obviously the pads still need bedding in, only rode it for probably about two hours today as I only got my wheels back from being built about 3pm. Ohh, almost forgot, I also got some TrialTech grips - Best grips I have used! So here it is, both rims used to have silver spokes, now have black spokes. The rear now has the Hope Tech Trial disc brake I got my bike to stand up on its own Thanks for reading

dannytrialskid
is it just me or is the front try all tyre on the wrong way round... Aha, I duno :/ I was in such a rush to ride! Just been riding in my garden for the last hour or two, and the pads still need bedding in slightly, but the performance is blady fantastic! I can go up to rear without having to worry about my hs33s slipping! Love them so much, can't wait for them to bed in properly, because that means they will be even better xD Edited June 10, 2011 by dannytrialskid

Azarathal
Discs slip way more than maggies. I've noticed that they slip a little bit whilst waiting to bite but once they've bitten they're not letting go.

It has to be an onza hub, otherwise you have to pull the frame out to get it on, like I had to do with my try-all one. I believe thats an Onza one. Looks fresh dude! Cheers mate! xD

Same as me mate. I need to buy a spare. That is the only problem, to be honest your frame will hit it before your rotor will, depending on what angle you hit at. I need to buy a spare rotor.
