I'd hand it in I think, I prefer spending money I've earned myself. Failed miserably at keeping my mouth shut on Friday when they barman didn't add my pint onto my food order bill, I don't think I'd fair well with £150k bearing down on my conscience.

Return it direct to the owner hoping for a reward. £150k is too much.

If it was a £150, I'd keep it. I don't know where the threshold between keeping and returning would lie. Probably around the £1,000 mark.

When I was a kid me and my mate found a suitcase jam packed with money, and I mean jammed.

We gave it to a police.

My old man went ape shit on us.

Everyone's assuming that this money was obtained by legal means and would be returned to the owner if handed in to the police. Neither of those are hard and fast facts. So that'd be how I'd have no guilt at taking it home and lying in a pile of it before booking a holiday.

Many years ago when we were at primary school my mate found a plastic bag (think sandwich bag) with about £150 in on the school bus on the way home.

He went on to spend about half of it after school on footy mags and sweets and some on megadrive games before returning about £30 to the bus company who were very pleased he handed in.

The lesson I believe is spend £60k paying off debts and the like then hand the rest in. Who's to know someone didn't already help themselves to a pile of it?!

Keep it man. Why would I walk around with it or bank it? I would hide it round the house.

Give it back to either the person if I knew who they were or the police, I wouldn't be able to spend that much money with a clear conscience but forgetting that, aquirring 150k without having earned it wouldn't be to hard to spot if the police where looking for it, I also watched a trailer for a film the other day where someone found a case of money and then the ganster'y type who's it was came looking for them afterwards and proceeded to make them pay for it which isn't all to nicer a thought. But yea if someones earnt that honestly that's a pretty harsh thing to take even if it was there fault they lost it.
