1nsane
So, this is my first post here and I need to introduce myself My name is Alexander, 15 years old, from Bulgaria. I am a beginner in trials, I ride for 5 months and I have my new trial related bike for a month. So my problem is the pedal-up. I checked TrashZen thousands of times to find a tutorial but I couldn't find any. My friends explained to me how am I supposed to do it but it seems like the timing is the hardest part or just the problem is in me. Any solutions? kaybs41282
Check out Ryan leech art of trials DVD (on vimeo) it's really helpful for this kind of thing
Luke Dunstan
It's less about the timing than you think. Start off by pedal hopping up obstacles first, and then add half a pedal stroke before you pedal up and so on. Thats the way I learnt it anyway. With practice it becomes easier so fast. Hope this helps.

roboff
Sorry to hi jack the thread, thought i might aswell put this in here rather than start a new one. Basically, im doing okay with pedal ups, and rolling gaps, i can get on to curbs from about a bike and halfs length. The problem is in getting height, i can get up two pallets and thats about it, i think im going to fast because im just ploughing into the side of it. Any tips guys? Thanks alot Edited June 5, 2011 by roboff
