Danny Mac Lover

Yep I asked him why on pinkbike on a different picture, it would be pretty embarressing to ride it. Its like those Dig Deep t shirts and the new Skye, its great that he has got signiture stuff but you would never wear one or ride one its abit .

I'll give him that though he's done a good job but like you said a bit wannabe-ish.

It wouldn't be my choice to spray a completely unrelated bike in a Danny mac signature style and I wouldn't be overly keen on wearing the Danny t-shirts but I don't think it's fair to lump the inspired Skye in to the mix.

It's not just an orange fourplay. It's got some really nice features that I've been hoping would come over to the trials world for quite a while now. I don't think if your interested in riding a Skye that makes you a wannabe. I know i will almost certainly be looking at getting one, i do hope it's available in more colour options than joust orange however.

Spraying a barge in those colours is a touch bizarre but if it makes the rider happy then so be it. I wish he'd got official inspired stickers at those ones look dodge, but people have always emulated their heroes so i don't see the problem. Many guitarists will pay the same model (or cheaper equivalent) than their favourite player so I don't see a difference here.

Yeh the Skye looks an amazing bike but I would not have it in orange, there does need to be more of the 20mm and 12 mm axles though

Um....... Yeah...... Well they say imitation is the most sincearest form of flattery!! If he had just copied the colour scheme then i guess you could let him off but to put inspired stickers on a... Czar (is it?) is actually a bit lame.

it's an echo control 07 and it's for sale at £1500!!!!!!

Who cares? I was in a bike shop at the weekend to leave mine in there while I got a pint and when I got back he complimented it and what not but asked whether I was copying Danny. It's not even anywhere near the same colour scheme... I just said no and that I'd planned to do it to my next bike for yonks, I just didn't get round to the 'next bike' for 5 years!

Then again, I also just gave him my business card (which is the same colour scheme) and told him it was just more branding :)
