trials owns
yup but will a 2t bigger freewheel still be reasonable or to light?
AlexxRogers
yup but will a 2t bigger freewheel still be reasonable or to light? Judging my that chart, it'll be fine... Seeing as 34-16 is recommended.

ForrestDump
If you want something really loud then you'd what to get a freehub (instead of a freewheel), the new Hope Pro2 Evo in particular, extremely loud but also very expensive. The Halo freehubs are quite loud too; best thing with a freehub is that you can just slide on whatever size sprocket that you want.

ForrestDump
Ah I see, I know Profile make a freehub but not with splines on like the Pro2's but instead it has a single sprocket which you can pick the size you want (I think). I know Ns also make freehubs which a Dj and street specific but I'm not sure if they come in 110mm length.
bike_dummie
im pretty sure the ns hubs are 135mm.
ForrestDump
im pretty sure the ns hubs are 135mm. Just had a look through them and it seems they are all 135mm. What Dj frame have you got as I thought 135mm rear axle was pretty much the standard, but I may have been wrong.
Rich J
What size dropouts do you have? 14mm or 10mm, be careful there too.

ForrestDump
I think it will have to be a BMX freehub (if you choose a freehub over a freewheel) however be careful choosing as some makes have an opposite set up, the freehub bit on the left instead of the right.
