Gaz96
Got a brand new disc rotor which is out of true? WHats the best way to go about truing it?
nb88
I usually use an adjustable spanner and just bend it slightly in the direction it needs to go. Clean the spanner before you use it so you don't get oil etc. on the rotor
Scott Gibbs
Spanner is a good to do it. Personally i use the 4000 tonne press at work! But you probably dont have one of those at home!! I've also used a bench vice too which seems to work.

Matthew62
Brand new bent rotor - replace that shit.
Mark W
If it's an old hub, or if the bolts aren't done up evenly, it can make a non-bent rotor look bent...
Luke Rainbird
Using a press won't do much really - you'll need to bend the rotor back past it's elastic limit and going back to flat won't generally do enough to true a rotor...
LSKSK
I found a good way to do it was to get 2 flat strong pieces of metal or wood ( metal preferably) that cover the entire circumference of the rotor. Sandwitch the rotor between them and park a car on top of them for a few hours.
ogre
adjustable spanner, adjusted to a little wider that the rotor's thickness and then you bend the rotor gently against the direction that it's untrue...
