Borat
Surely, if you can't hear the break squeeking on the mic, her singing is pre-recorded. Or is this the aim? Someone inform me of this show?!

Matthew62
About the mic..... It's a vocal mix designed to pick up vocal signals at a very close range. Of course you're always going to get some leak on Mics, but her mouth 2mm from the Mic compared to a magura some distance away is always going to come through a lot stronger. Also there could have easily been some post processing - don't know if this things live or not? Think about it when you go to a gig you hear the singer perfectly well, the drums right behind them, the guitarist wailing away or the bass player p-funkin' your face don't leak through their vocal mic to such an extent that it drowns them out. Condenser mics are intended to pick up subtle nuances of singers voices, but you don't use them live as they'd pick up everything. That's why the 'traditional" mic shape is used as it only picks up vibrations from a very close range. They pick up the sounds in a slightly mushroom shape meaning not much coming from behind (away from the mouth) the mic is picked up. You can see this when certain vocalists do mic tricks to make their voice sound distant live. You only have to back off a few inches to achieve this. It's also the reason when big, belter singers go for a big note they joink the mic far away, as it'd kill you otherwise. P.S. The reason you hear the crowd is not because they come through the mic, but is in fact because the audience itself is mic'd up to add to the (shit) ambience. Nick Manning
Surely, if you can't hear the break squeeking on the mic, her singing is pre-recorded. Or is this the aim? Someone inform me of this show?! How about you listen to it properly. You'll notice that she giggles and also screams when they get close to her or hop over her. So she clearly is singing and it's not pre-recorded. Looks pretty cool Jack well done and fair play to you and the rest of the guys in the show, some great riding in those conditions. Borat
I never 'dissed on it, nor did I make any negative point on it. I was just curious on why you can't hear brakes etc etc.
Matthew62
I'd like to make clear that my response was meant to be informative, not argumentative. I thought I would explain why i feel they're not overly loud on the recording.
Rusevelt
didnt Ali fall of the stage at 1.34? Its amazing how easily he just rattles off backflips. You mean when Ali.C bunnyhops over her and tries to slowdown when approaching the edge of the stage. Hard to tell in this edit but his feet come off the pedals.
