Getting A New Frame.

Heya guys, been offered both an Echo Lite'09 frame and an Onza blade 2010.

Echo is £100 - One small dent otherwise immaculate.

Onza is £90 - Maggy mounts are f**ked, otherwise immaculate.

I know that frames are all personal preference but which would you go for?

I've also got a 128mm bb and an Echo TR 110mm rear hub (116mm with snailcams) and I'm wondering about the chainline on both bikes, would the existing combo work ok?

Cheers guys.

I see.

If you're reasonably certain you won't go rim brake - then there's little reason not to do the Comp.

It's really up to you.

Not sure on the Echo's geo - but the Comps are very nice to ride.

If they're a similar geo, choose whichever looks better to you.

Chainline will be fine. Pretty much the standard - and if you think about it, neither of the cogs will be effected in their off-central placement by a new frame. Rear sprocket is on hub, which won't change, and freewheel is on cranks, which is on the end of the BB axle, which will still be central to the frame.
