kaybs41282
Hi everyone, please could you offer your help? I'm about to buy a new bike off eBay and have had very good comms with the seller and have his mobile number and email address. We have come to a settlement away from eBay but he wants me to send him the payment via Paypal and bypass eBay to save him some money...which is fair enough. Am I protected if anything goes wrong if we do it this way? His name is Matt Wallace and is from Maidstone in Kent if anyone is familiar with him? Apologies and no offence if you are on the forum and read this Matt lol. Sorry for the paranoia but I don't tend to buy much online haha Thanks in advance Chrisand the seller has just called me to clarify - he says that if I send it marked as "goods" then I'm protected..is this the case? Luke Dunstan
Do not send the money as a "Gift".

How could I prove that the item was not delivered, bought by me and the sale was agreed without referring to eBay...which has been bypassed and as far as they are concerned, no sale/purchase evens exists...? trials owns
Its basically like buying somthing of the forum. paypall send you a recipt etc and if there are any problems just contact them. my brother got scammed and done this, they investigated and he ended up getting his goods. kaybs41282
But on the trials forum you would have a record that the sale existed...I possibly don't have this other than a couple of emails and texts...is that enough?
