Ross Gardner
Hi everyone, Been very busy at Uni this term with loads of different edits and bits of coursework. This project was commissioned by the BBC to produce a short film about the recent take over of Southsea Skatepark. Southsea Skatepark is one the UK's oldest and most iconic skateparks, which have seen the likes of Tony Hawk and Steve Cabbalero skate it in during the 'Golden Era' of the the late 80's. In 2007, there was talks of the park being shut down due to lack of funding from the local government. However, as of April this year, it is now privately owned, and will be run as a charity! The edit was by myself, and all others involved are listed in the credits. Comments would be awesome! http://www.vimeo.com/23900809 Edited May 18, 2011 by Ross Gardner

Azarathal
Watched it at work with no sound, looks good though, nicely put together with some decent riders. Will watch it again when I'm at home so I can actually hear what the people interviewed had to say.
Ben Swales
That was a pretty cool video - it's cool to see that such an iconic park has been saved from closure and that the BBC are getting on board as well. Nice work! However, given that it was commissioned by the BBC (presumably to be shown online/on telly), it might have been a good idea to proofread the titles - some grammar mistakes and rogue apostrophes in there! Mat Tea Why
This was really good! I think perhaps you could have got an interview to talk about the stuff mentioned in the titles? But thats just a minor thing. Some massive riding going on in there too, wtf at 00:57! Nice work mate.
