casualjoe
Not sure whether to go for the Try-All ISIS or the Rockman Lite cranks in 175mm. Which would you choose? Are they pretty much identical? Cheers
Jamie_Trials
I'd choose the tryall, because they're half the price. The rockman cranks look sexy though

casualjoe
http://www.facebook....&type=1 Jeese, they look mint apart from the obvious! Wonder what made them so weak compared to the Try-Alls So are the new Rockmans the ones with the pockets machined out up the sides?
J.KYDD
All to do with that area forming a stress riser or some other clever shiz I don't really understand! Edited May 15, 2011 by J.KYDD
casualjoe
Oh yea I see what you mean, thanks for the advice you've been a great help in choosing parts for me recently
laurent
Try-all cranks, tend to break in the same area. And some batch of rockman seemes to tend to break around the pedam thread... So reliability is not the most important question here... Even if the try-all seem to be more reliable. Every lite crank will eventualy break. To me, the only good point of rockman lite cranks is the bigger offset, if you need it... If you don't go for the try-all.
J.KYDD
I've just replaced mine with the 2010 echo SL cranks. Even ligher than the rockmans and quality seems a shit load better. Got them off trialprod as tarty were out of stock
uldis
Rockman cranks - lasted 1 year, both cracked. I was lucky to find the cracks before they snap. Rockman cranks is not a good choise.
dave33
Iv not seen any tryall snap? Has there been many ? Try-all cranks, tend to break in the same area. SamKidney
Trialtech. Fit and Forget cranks. Awesome. Although out of the two, Id choose the Rockmans.
