Laurence--Trials
The bearings in my Trial Tech sport bottom bracket are just completely dead and need replacing. I'm not prepared to buy a whole new BB as its not needed and i don't have the money for it. Could anyone link me to some bearings suitable for the trial tech? I also have an old onza BB which i could take the bearings off, however i dont know if they would fit and they could be gone too.

ireson75
You should definitely be able to get some for a decent price from a bearing shop and they will have endless different sizes. The bearings usually have the size printed on them so write it down and take it with you. My Dad uses these people for motorbike bearings although they do allsorts; http://www.brt-bearings.com/1024x768/index.html in portsmouth however they have branches all over the country shown on the website. Hope this is a bit helpful, Tom
Trials Punk
As has been said, the part number for the bearings should be on them somewhere. They will more than likely be generic/oem bearings, so freely available. Once you've got the part no, just tap it in to google.
AdamR28
They will more than likely be generic/oem bearings, so freely available. For BBs, this isn't usually the case. Take them out and measure them, I think the ones we stock will fit. Notchy bearings is usually the sign of a problem elsewhere - knackered crank splines, BB shell needs facing, etc.

forteh
Bump, finally got the BB out and looked at the bearings 31X22X7 Does anyone know a place where i can order new ones from? Have to be from the UK Visit youre local engineers supplies and they should be able get some for you, if youre stuck for your nearest one just google bearing stockists and your postcode. A big national chain is BSL Brammer, they have trade counters all over the country but they wont be the cheapest edit: a quick bit of googling shows that theyre an MR2231 2RS bearing (reference here) which appears to be an odd bearing size, possibly specific to cycle parts. Give your local stockists a bell and see if they can get them in, if not you might have to go further a field for them.
