Stretched Ears

I have resisted saying anything here but can't hold it in.

When I see people such as that in the photo I cannot help but feel very sorry for them. They are such a victim of fashion, there is no other reason why you would do that to yourself. Now, if this gives you more confidence/self-esteem then that's great but there's other ways to be accepted socially.

(I am aware I'm opening myself up for flaming here)

Look at him, he looks sad. That's because he looks like a c-unit and he knows it.

Also he has the haircut of a monk.

Wouldn't you be sad if you woke up and someone had done that to your face as a terrible Uni prank?

iv got 6mm in my left ear and 10mm in my right, most my mates like them, one of my riding mates has a 47mm in his right ears and its flaps around when he does jumps, pretty funny to watch IMO, i think they are cool and a way of expressing yourself, thats the whole reason i started stretching mine

The same could be said of tattoos, but they're more widely accepted... You can at least take tunnels out or at worst have them stitched, it's considerably more work to change your mind about a tattoo!

i dont mind them, i would have it done myself seams to have become the trend for alot of kids nowadays. they also look pretty mining when you take them out. why not get a brand?

interesting fact - a higher percentage of men who have genital piercings stretch them than those who have ear piercings. to that larger percentage i ask... why?

what awesome but useless knowledge comes from having a girlfriend who work in a piercing shop.

Most people don't get tattoos on their face where everyone can see them, with flesh tunnels you never have the option of covering them up. I remember once seeing a tramp on the street when I was about 8 or 9, he'd had stretched lobes or possibly just earrings pulled out and as a result his ear lobes just flapped about in several pieces, looked rank and maybe scarred me for life :P So I don't really like flesh tunnels. If it's reversible (I.e. not more than 5-6mm), I guess it's OK with me, otherwise I think it's just tragic.
