liam n Posted May 5, 2011 Report Share Posted May 5, 2011 (edited) so my chain snapped ....., anyway went to bike shop to get a new link...the man runnning the shop said you can re-use the link pin and he said it would be strong, so that's what i did as i couldn't find a link the right size....i didn't know you could do this SO have any of you guys done so and does this work or is it weaker? so far in the last 15 min ride it's been fine cheers Edited May 8, 2011 by liam n Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Its only £13, stop being cheap fatty meh i have used my previous chain for a year, and so do most people, the chains only 2-3 months old and it was the shitty snap link that's the problem...FATTY ? how dare you judge me, i bet your fattyer that me anyway Just stick a new link on and be done with it.
