stoozie
Just been offered a Fourplay via Pinkbike, and he's given me the spec and a few pictures, and he wants £950 for it. I don't think it's worth that, but I have no idea what to offer him so wondered what any of you think would be fair? I've also noticed it's missing what freewheel it is running, I'll ask him about that. The bike is in really good condition, I have some pics I can upload if need be. Spec: Inspired 4 Play frame. DMR wingbar bars. Magura HS33 White rear brake. Inspired lock on grips. Inspired platform peddles. DMR Moto Digger tyres f+r. Magura inner tubes. Because 24 inch forks. Trialtech cranks. Inspired seat. Onza headset. Chainguard. Echo rear and front hubs. Avid bb5 front disc brake. Echo TR rims (front and back. Trialtech cages pedals (spare). Spare brake pads. monkeyseemonkeydo
Any pics? I wouldn't want to spend more than £400-£500 on something like that unless it's all brand new and virtually unused.

monkeyseemonkeydo
Looks in fairly good condition but I still would be looking to pay maybe £550 for it... £950 is way too much in my humble opinion.

trialsprobigcheese
id have to agree that its not worth £950 but it is in perfect condition and i would say is worth £800 and at the very least £700
heartohelp:)
basic spec- gr8 condition= £700 not £950!!
craigjames
It's also a trials bike and as such has very little in the way of second hand value, 500-600 is about right for it. You'd be very lucky to get more.
Azarathal
id have to agree that its not worth £950 but it is in perfect condition and i would say is worth £800 and at the very least £700 1 post, most likely the guy selling the bike. basic spec- gr8 condition= £700 not £950!! Registered yesterday, I'd still like to say it's fairly suspicious.
stoozie
Registered yesterday, I'd still like to say it's fairly suspicious. He types the same way as the guy who tried to sell it to me on Pinkbike as well. I pulled out of the sale anyway, didn't think it was worth what he wanted for it in the end
Skoze
One to remember that I and a few others usually go by on buying/ selling second hand trials bikes is the "half it" rule. If it's mint/ near mint condition, or something a little bit special, add up the cost of every part and half it - otherwise, do that and knock off £xxx for anything damaged or needing to be replaced.
