Carlperkins
trying to nail a 360 on the rear, just for fun really, add to my bag of tricks. i can get a 180 pretty easily but struggle to get further any tips? im currently running quite low tyre pressure and when i do a 180, the tyre moves to one side of the rim and then it kind of springs me back a little, would a rock hard tyre make it a lot easier? by the way im on maxxis holyrollers, not nobbly's. bikeperson45
I think harder would make it easier, you know your tyres are too low when it folds Makes sure you're winding your body in the opposite direction before lifting the frontwheel and as your twisting turn your head over your shoulder, and exaggerate this till you're getting as much spin as you want. Endohopper
Makes sure you're winding your body in the opposite direction before lifting the frontwheel ... Yeah , preload is crucial-equal and opposite reaction and all that. Also getting the bike pretty steep / vertical allows a faster rotation . Are you giving a little pedal or just pullin' the bike with muscle power / bodyweight displacement ? I learned 'em with a pedal but now find it more comfortable to yank the damned thing . Finally got 'em reliably by focusing on really snappin'fast - rotate rapidly , spin speedily ,pirouette promptly and , uh...boing briskly ? DeVal
so you mean your on the back wheel and then you hop around. hmmmm i think ive managed 270. i might try the 360 version as my static 360's on the spot (off the floor) are pritty much my party piece.
