peggysue
My new bike came with a conti rubber queen 2.4 on the rear which is great , but it's a right fit . After riding on Saturday I noticed it rubbing badly and looked like a buckle in the wheel , however after looking today the wheel is straight , the tyre has the buckle ! I've let it down , squeezed it , pumped it up no end of times today but it keeps coming back ..... Anyone have this problem or a way of straightening it back to it's original shape ....? Much appreciated !
forteh
My rubber queen also had a deformity that looked like the wheel was buckled, I think over time it reduced a little but Im talking aover 18 months or so. Fortunately Ive got plenty of room in the frame so it didnt cause any issues
gage-mann
when i had my 2.2 conti on the rear it needed to be pumped up to like the maximum presure and even then it might still not be perfect. have a a few goes at pumping it up hard till its not to bad then leave it a while? LukasMcNeal
I had the same problem, pumped it up hard and left it for a few days. My frame has bad clearance though so I had to cut quite a few knobbles off
