Oddinorway
Hello guys, and girls. I got an atomz quark2, but i kinda distroyed the hub on the backweel. I have been looking on chris king but dont know how well this will work, they got hubs that fits great on my bike, but i dont know how it will work for trial. Are there anyone that have tried chris king hub with freeweel? are there any better way too do it? Maybe use echo SL freweel and then use a stronger hub on backweel. Im 95KG (of muscles that is ) so i kinda need somthing thats durable and fits my weight and my ride tecnique. im open for suggestions. I dont want atomz back hub again its too shitty. but i need a hub that 135mm with a 12mm axel looking forward too some response.
LROB87
if you can afford a king you cant go wrong strong as hell and 5 year warranty too so if you break alot of hubs youd be saving money lol

And btw how is freeweel on rear hub compared too freeweel on crank?
forteh
A chris king is a freehub so its pointless trying to run one with a freewheel, if you run a king on the back you will need a fixed sprocket up front. I think it is possible to fit the king to the atomz frames, you might need to modify the frame/hub/bolts slightly though in order to fit it to the bolt through arrangement. King hubs are expensive and move alot of weight onto the back wheel which affects the weight distribution of the bike, much better to get a replacement fixed hub and stick with front freewheel. Whats wrong with the atomz hub? If its bearings then just put some new ones in, shouldnt cost much at all. Not sure on fixed hubs but I believe the tryall H have a very good reputation, again you have to sort out how to fit it into the bolt through system on the atomz frame. Oddinorway
iknow that but i was thinking of the "internal freeweel" of CK. but anyways the hub on atomz is made only too be super light and only ok partial durable. so when you start jumping and using alot of power the fixed gear start rotating becouse its only screwed on.so the external thread is no longer there:P.. Endohopper
...King hubs... strong as hell and 5 year warranty too ... Invalidated if they suspect trials usage , and by all accounts they can identify the specific type of wear inflicted by trials . Fortunately , if well maintained and and you have good technique , a rear :king: will offer years of reliable service. And to answer your other question - they offer 72 points of sweet, buzzing engagement .

ogre
why go to a king? front freewheel is better, it puts the weight more central on the bike and if you clip a cheap freehub riding it doesn't seem as bad as smashing a king up...
