p_ruskin
I'm running 18:14 with 175mm cranks on my Echo trial, and the gearing just seems a little easy, it just makes rolling moves harder and generally makes the bike feel slightly strange. Does anyone have any recommendations on what i should do to stiffen it up a little? or is the correct setup and I'm just being stupid? 18:15 maybe? Or would some shorter cranks make a difference? Cheers

Cheers Im running 18: 13 and that feels good. If you go to 18:15 that will make the gearing even lighter.
Mark W
Yeah, 175s with 18:13 or 170s with 18:14 is pretty decent. Currently running 23:15 which is pretty fun for faster stuff.
