spode@thinkbikes
Hi Guys! We've been filming a series of tutorial videos in conjunction with Voodoo Bikes and I thought I'd just share them with you. http://www.thinkbikes.com/videos/tutorials/any/date/newest/1 The first three have been launched now, and Voodoo will be letting them out 3 at a time over the next few weeks to a total of 12. It's done on the heaviest jump bike you can imagine with no free wheel engagements - proving that you can learn the basics on anything If you've only been riding a few years - it's worth checking them out, even if you think you're doing it right - as it might make you look at it slightly differently...
Jamie_Trials
The 30 psi bit wasn't needed on the "getting started" video, all personal preference And the intro to each video seems too long, after you watch it on every video, it can become annoying. Rest seemed aright, good amount of detail in there

bip
Neat little set of videos, they have a nice flow and feel to them. You may like to add "Previous" and "Next" links to the video page themselves to make navigation a little easier.
bikeperson45
Really liked them, well made and well explained. Looking forward to the rest. Riding in the intro is awesome as well.

bikeperson45
what is the name of voodoo's frame? kinda strange setup though I thought the same, but when I started I would of loved these video for them riding on a bike that's not completely specific to trials. Would have given me hope for my riding on my 19" XC bike
spode@thinkbikes
I thought the same, but when I started I would of loved these video for them riding on a bike that's not completely specific to trials. Would have given me hope for my riding on my 19" XC bike Of all the bikes Voodoo did, it was the one we were most comfortable on. The videos are aimed at anyone on any bike - so we didn't/couldn't want to use a trials bike. I think I also wanted to highlight how people rely on their bike setup way too much. We had rock hard tyres and this thing weight a TONNE - but Andy still managed a side hop that was about 36" IIRC. The frame is the Voodoo Shanga. It's actually a really nice setup - for jumping, not trials. It's just under £400 too - but the spec is surprisingly good...
Carlperkins
good videos, yeah the intro is abit long but thats skip-able if your watching a few vids. when are you gonna do the tutorials for harder tricks like? g turn perhaps? lol the amount of detail is great. keep them coming
TrialsIsHard
This is a great idea, trashzen is aging a bit now and the quality of the videos seem worse and worse.. its good to have a fresh lot at tutorial videos
ibs_m
Really good videos I thought - would have helped me when I was starting off im sure - I loved finding slo mo tutorials, even now for bigger stuff. Interested in what you filmed on and how you got the 'look' of those videos, filters, editing software etc Thanks Ibs
