smithy83
a good chain is the kmc 510hx or the trialtech as they are the same chain. they do it in two versions to suite you sprocket im running the 1/8th on 18 by 12 gearing and never had any problems at all.highly recommend. Luke Rainbird
1/8" is slightly wider than the 3/32" (obviously) so if you need the extra width then go for that one, but the shorter pins on the 3/32" chain will generally make it a little stonger. Check the thickness of your sprocket (or throw a link up) and go from there I've only run 3/32" chains for the past however many years with very few issues. onza1
So I can get away with either then ? Also not sure wether to have a go with a half link as I won't be using a tensioner maybe the half link thus on rock n roll bikes what do you think ? Sorry can't get links to products as using the iPod Cheers
