Miles Mallinson
I got a new-ish fork today its wider than my old one so when I go for footjams or whips my foot gets stuck inbetween the tyre and the arch of the fork. I saw a while ago that Mark W had a footjam plate made out of fibreglass and was bolted on to the fork, I was just wondering if there are any alternatives to this like instead of making it out of fibreglass to make it out of wood? Or if anyone could make one for me that would be good. Edited April 22, 2011 by Milo123
CalopS
My friends just got a booster cable tied to the forks. Works fine
Mat Tea Why
I made one out of some wood off an old pallet. Wasn't very thick, but it worked fine for about 5 months - until it snapped. But for a 5 minute bodge job it was fine!
Carlperkins
same problem, bought new echo urban forks and my foot gets stuck, i found that if you jam your foot at an angle it helps, but i want to make something similar too, was thinking about a booster cable tied to forks as mentioned above. if you find a soloution.. let me know? Miles Mallinson
Aye was riding tonight it does help putting you foot at an angle but its kind of an annoyance to remember to do that, I was thinking about getting an old saddle then taking the plastic backing off it, cut it into shape then bolt it on. Revolver
Curve each side round, make a slot on each and run jubilee clips to hold it to the frame.
