Blake
Howdy! Let's get a topic going asking what everyone buys at the start of a trial ride Say where you get it and roughly the price I buy tesco value cola for 38p and asda isotonic sports drink for like 50p. I also buy walls sausage rolls for £1 Your turn
Revolver
It varies. Sometimes I buy water, sometimes coke, quite often Lucozade Sport. Food, it's generally a sandwich, or crisps and snickers if there isn't any.
isitafox
I never go far enough to warrant buying food but I usually buy a bottle of water when I'm out and about near home
Jamie_Trials
Lucozade sport or some other isotonic drink. Don't really eat that much when I'm riding, but sometimes McDonalds, something from Greggs or stuff my face with something healthy, like chocolate. dann2707
Lots of protein before a big ride (say if someone organised a massive day ride) in the form of 3 fried eggs on toast. Some beans too depending how fruity i'm feeling. nahh lol, but a full proteiny breakfast. I'd say the golden rule is to have a big breakfast so it fills you up so you don't have to eat as much whislt riding preventing the feeling of being bloated and being sick. Sugar helps too. Tom Canham
Most of the time ill have Lucozade. Don't normally eat much on a ride, maybe a chocolate bar.
Miles Mallinson
Everytime I go out I get a carton of 55p ribena, there are two categories of sweets to chose from, I never go for the bagged individual sweets like skittles or minstrels because if you open them they go everywhere in you pocket, so I either get a ripple, double decker or a packet of skips which I just eat before I start riding then regret it when I drink my ribena first because they are pretty salty. dann2707
Energy drinks like that are awful for riding IMO. All about the still drinks like lucozade sport or water.
