PaRtZ
Hi guys Ive been working overtime since December last year and not been paid it up till now. Its about £270 so obviously im a bit f**ked off. All i get is my basic salary each month and despite me asking Ive had blame passed around and no one definitively say 'Definitly this month' Im well up for taking the company to court although doubt I need to take it that far but has anyone had experiance with this before? Do I need to raise a grievance procedure with the company? I leave at the end of June and I think they are hoping I'll give up chasing if I'm not on the island... Any info or advice would be greatly appreciated; Ive never had anything like this happen before. Every month we have doubts if we'll actually get paid, while the chief exec uses company money to hire limosines, stay in hotels etc etc.
isitafox
I'd try and take up a grievance procedure and if your still fobbed off then threaten (and follow through if they still don't budge) to take the company to small claims court. AdamR28
Only problem with that is that if your claim is for less than £5k, you have to pay all the costs even if you win I'll have a Google for you Matt... Edit: Looks like 'ACAS' will be worth a call, they're open til 8 tonight: http://www.direct.gov.uk/en/Employment/ResolvingWorkplaceDisputes/DG_10027991 http://www.acas.org.uk/index.aspx?articleid=1364
