F.N.G
So I was wondering what bars are best for their money? Options: V!Z pro 700 tensile 9D riser or a Trialtech Sport Riser Bar What are your reviews and comments about these bars Thanks, Tom
AdamR28
What bike? What riding style? What frame? What stem? The 'best' bars out of those are the Trialtech though.
Matt Vandart
I disagree with Adam I prefer the VIZ, the Tensile are absolute garbage.
AdamR28
He asked for which are the best bars though, not which people preferred. In terms of design, construction, quality, tolerances and durability the Trialtech are the 'best'.
Matt Vandart
That's a very objective valuation of a subjective quantity In terms of technical construction I would agree with Adam Trial Tech bars are way ahead. Also everyone I know that runs Trial tech bars absolutely loves them and most wont run anything else I just dont' seem to get on with them for an unknown reason. jacksnell95
from what ive heard an seen on here the tensile bars snap quite alot so i would go for the trialtech
Andeee
I posted a topic further down relating to what bars trialtechs or ech tr's? Ive got a slight bend in me trialtech sports owned them about 2-3 years when they first come out... im tempted to get some new ones or maybe try echo tr's My set up is a piranha long frame with a echo 13x15 stem i mainly go for a TGS style with the occasional natural riding too.. Anyone snapped trialtechs or even bent them?
AdamR28
I've heard or one or two sets not 100% unscathed, but they are as old as yours at least. TR bars won't last anywhere near that long: 6066 instead of 7075, and 288g instead of ~310g.
