casualjoe
OK, I don't get emotionally ripped apart whilst on the bike but my eyeballs keep dripping blimmin' tears! It happens mainly when there is a strong or cold wind, so when I am looking down at my bike, trying to get set up, the eyes fill up and everything's blurry! I keep having to jump off and wipe them away because I literally can't see. No doubt this is quite a common problem and I am interested if anyone has any tips on how to reduce this uncontrollable crying Cheers, Joe

casualjoe
The feelings more than mutual my dear, it was just thinking about the last time we were at Cligga Head and how I was struggling with that head wind up on that, head. LukasMcNeal
Close your eyes? Could get some like clear glasses or sun glasses
Revolver
Haaaahahahahahaaaa But seriously, if I thrash it down hill, air whips round my glasses and makes my eyes water on rare occasions. Maybe you wear glasses, if you do, it's that. You can't stop it.

Luke Rainbird
Other than some sweet ass Ali G specs or ski goggles, I think you might be out of luck mate. Could always get Sprog to follow you round with a windbreak?

casualjoe
Cheers guys, so I guess placing a physical barrier between the harsh wind and my sensitive eyeball will stop it. Sounds painfully obvious reading it back. For some reason I thought there may be a sort of 'magic' cure that the pros all know Edited April 18, 2011 by casualjoe
Luke Rainbird
I hear Gilles spends an hour a day rubbing his face in finely diced onion. Throw in a sprinkling of cinnamon and you'll be laughing your way through tornadoes like they were a mere autumn breeze
