PaRtZ
Hi guys I sold my camera a while ago, want to get back into so i thought Id jump on the HDef bandwagon. As well as trials, I was thinking about getting a headcam so I could also film some climbing too. Ive looked at the gopro stuff, but the VholdR stuff just seems a bit better value for money, and is pretty small. I can imagine for trials, if I wore it it would be unbelievably shaky, so I'd probably use it with a gorilla pod for trials, but has anyone had experiance / heard about problems with them? Thanks
manuel
the mounts on the gopro can be a bit shit.... BUT its just better than the contour. had a direct comparison with my go pro and akkers contour at mega avalanche last year - the thing is much better sealed, can go underwater, is wider (I think - especially @ 720 ?) and actually just looks better on screen. replaceable shell = a win for crashing too. Akkers contour had loads of dust n crap behind the front glass after a day of riding. you could quite happily film a whole trials vid on a gopro onboard and offboard shots.
