dann2707
Right. Had enough of my unbranded BMX chain giving me problems. Just snapped on me whilst pedalling smoothly, nearly went right over the bars haha. Because i'm using a crappy non branded cheapy one, is this the reason why I can't get my brakes set up perfectly and needing a half link to make it the right size? Next question, which one do you reccomend and know that will be the right length for my Onza Comp 20" running an 18 tooth SL freewheel and 12 tooth rear fixed sprocket? Links would be great. Thanks. dann2707
Is it 3/32" i'm after? What do the sizes even refer to?
trialsmax04
Im 99.9% sure you will be fine. But IIRC that's the pitch measurement for the chain?
Mark W
The pitch is the same, it's just the actual widths. So 3/32" is the usual MTB/geared size, and 1/8" is the BMX size. A 3/32" should do you fine on your bike as long as you don't have something like a Halo sprocket on the rear. But yeah, Z510HX/Z610HX fo lyf.
