Revolver
Freewheel cassette, as in a screw on cassette with built in freewheel? You might be able to get one from a local dodgy bike shop, but I don't think the freewheels in them are any good. Otherwise if you're just after a 6 speed cassette, you can always buy a bigger one and chop it up a bit, I did that to run two gears. LROB87
http://www.winstanleysbikes.co.uk/product/6330/Profile_6Speed_Cassette_Hub one of those badboys but for non disc, i want the echo 6 speed hub but the only 6 speed cassettes i can find have too many teeth lol
Revolver
I think you'll struggle. The hope pro II trials is 6 speed but it's got a disc mount. As I said before, just get an 8 speed one and cut it apart.

N.Wood
Use a wide based cog (eg King Kog or whatever)on the trials gear otherwise it will start to dig in to the cassette body. When you remove the pins its no longer a single unit and the load is concentrated on a small area.
Luke Rainbird
Or run a road block like everyone used to? Generally the first 5/6 cogs are a single unit and the rest are loose so you'll have your 6 gears, then just fit a chainring to suit
dave33
Only problem is if you buy a 9 speed cassette let's say and cut it up, the spacers that came with it will only work with a 9 speed shifter, unless you get a thumb shifter. dave33
Yes just make sure the limits screws are adjusted on the mech, it will work but you will have some left over clicks on shifter, not real problem

dave33
The screws just limit the mech so the chain doesn't go to far and off each end of the cog and into the spokes at the top, then just start by moving the cable with the barrel adjuster
