Chain Tension

Hi guys.

The end of my first week on the stock and I'm very happy with it. One thing I've noticed though is I could have so much more chain wrap around the rear sprocket if my chain was shorter or the tensioner was coverted to push the chain upwards as against downwards.

So my question is, should I leave the tensioner be and experiment with different chain lengths, or leave the chain and convert the tensioner to push the chain upward and tension it that way? ( if possible )

The tensioner is an axle mounted Echo SL, chain is a KMC Kool, 18 - 15 gearing :)

Thanking you! :)

Just do what iv done mate, get a 2 wheeled sprung tensioner and take the pin out of the back so it sits up against the chainstay but because the chain goes round both wheels it stays tensioned, works really well, although sometimes the first wheel teeth touch the teeth on the king
