Azarathal
Heya guys. I wont have everything I need until Friday so I have a day or two to find out how to do this. I know it can be done. Does anyone have a guide/tutorial? Or could draw me up some diagrams?

You simply miss one spoke out every 90 degrees. it is possible, but apparently a b*****d to true
JD™
Just miss out a spoke at 12, 3, 6 and 9 o'clock. Simples EDIT: Beaten, but I've never had a problem truing them.. Edited April 6, 2011 by JD™

Azarathal
Sounds simple enough, any chance I could get a diagram drawn up? Just so theres no chance of me f**king it up
Mark W
Just bear in mind it won't be as strong as a 32-32 wheel, especially at the 4 points where there's a spoke missing...

I guess im ok with this. I can't really afford a new rim and mine is only a few months old. Disk wheel being laced 3x, reckon it'd be strong enough? Dan6061
I had to do this with a 26h hub, 32h rim. Lacing that up sucked.
Azarathal
Unlucky Dan. Regarding the skip a spoke at every quarter, I guess it's alternating which side I miss the spokes on? Or is it all on non-disk side?
T-Limburn
they will be on alternate sides edit: you won't be missing a spoke from either side of the hub anyway, just every ninth hole on the rim Edited April 8, 2011 by T-Limburn
Azarathal
Tarty Adam has put my order on hold anyway. Guess i'm in the market for a new rim. Cheers guys.
