Dan Jones
Hi, I’m fitting trialtech cranks onto an echo bottom bracket (the one that comes in the 2011 echo pure). Can someone tell me if the cranks should slide on the spline enough to touch the bottom bracket spacers? As show in in the image below. Or is it fine as it is? I have tightened the cranks but this is what it looks like. Thanks for any help.
AdamR28
When things are new, they're often pretty tight so won't slip on all the way. Once you ride everything will bed in a bit and they should slide on a little further - just keep an eye on them and keep them tight A bit of grease might not go amiss too? EDIT: This was Mark on Adam's computer, btw...

Mark W
That should help The ISIS documentation says there should be a gap of 3-5mm when the cranks are pushed on by hand, and that they shouldn't go all the way to the stops.
