isitafox
I've just bought a Trialtech titanium bashring 2nd hand and I'm going to fit it to my Trialtech cranks with Echo SL freewheel. The thing I was wondering though is on Tartybikes it says they should be used with a 1.5mm spacer if fitted to a crank with FFW but the previous owner never bothered as I don't think he had one either so can anyone tell me if they have one and if they use it?? And also if I should use one where can I buy such an item??

Mark W
You won't need one with an SL.
Martin Reynolds
i think its to stop the outter edge of the freewheel rubbing against the bashring, as the width of the bashring is the same all the way around.
