Whats the best pad out there for a smooth rim and whats the best pad for a ground rim? Is it even worth running a smooth rim?? Cheers . Ash-Kennard
im using heatsink yellows in the heatsink vee backing on a smooth rim, its as good as my coustsinks on a grind in both hold and bite, and loud. which is annoying for a 24, but i do appreciate the power
gu trials
bealay vees are epic on smooth annodised, my mate has them on a harsh grind and they're still good but i think smooth is better

ghostrider88
What are the inspired pads like? pretty good on smooth if your rim is clean but bitey as hell, there´s no moduletion and I really mean none.very good on grind and more predictable. SamKidney
for outright hold on a vee with a smooth rim, Inspired vee pads would be my only choice. Bite, mega hold and can be silent.
toyota200x
I have been running a DX32 with CRV's for years & they work amazing. Tons of hold...even on a very dead grind.
