How Original Posted March 31, 2011 Report Share Posted March 31, 2011 Well, I don't want to buy new grips because I quite like my current ones as their camo. I was wondering if anyone knows of anything you can get, just like a bit that adds onto the handlebar end to hold your grips on? Working in a similar fashion to have your brake levers held on. Just a wrap round piece of metal and screw? I've tried eBay, but not really sure what to search other than lock on grips, and that just brings up new grips :$ Anyone help? N.Wood Posted April 1, 2011 Report Share Posted April 1, 2011 Are they slipping? Could try the old trick of wrapping wire around them at each end. EDIT: those grip stops won't stop the grip rotating, but will stop them moving inwards (or outwards)towards/away from the stem. They don't go over the grip, just over the bar. Krisboats Posted April 1, 2011 Report Share Posted April 1, 2011 Do you have lock on grips currently and wan the end pieces? If so superstar components do them dead cheap with free delivery. If you have standard grips, just buy a 50p can of hairspray and spray it under the grips. Slide the grips onto the bars, leave it to dry and your done. Won't budge at all! I was going to use like a spray form of glue perhaps instead? I didn't think hairspray would have lasted very long or dried sticky enough to make them stay in place?
