Andoz09
Hi, just started to take intrest in my bike again after about 1 year without using it,although i have noticed that the rear axle (hub) isnt gripping the frame causing it to wobble/move even when the bolts are as tight as they can go. No idea whats up with it, anyone got any ideas? Added some pictures also. Thanks. My link My link My link
dann2707
Mine did this when I needed a spacer inbetween the hub and frame.
Dan6061
Maybe the bolt is bottoming out in the axle? Unless the axle is hollow all the way through. - Say this because you don't have a mech hanger, so that side of the dropout is thinner, which means the bolt goes further into the axle. RossMcd
you need a mech hanger or a washer to push the frame out a bit so the axle doesnt make contact with the end of the bolt. As the frame is thinner. I would advice using a mech hanger to save deforming the dropout on your frame though.

Krisboats
If you're competant with a grinder/hacksaw you can make one using a washer with a 10mm centre hole. Or even do as i did and find a random bit of metal and cut it to shape. Mine was just a 5mm piece of steel.

BradJohnson
I fixed this problem by fitting a new axel and putting a big thick washer on each side of the outer frame.
