stephenmx50
Hi as per description I'm a fan of rockman green pads on my smooth rim but I have had two sets and both are coming out of the backings, is this just me or is this common? Any suggestions? Cheers
BlueSmokeyJoe
If the material is coming out of the backing, rough up the lugs that sit in the backing then put a couple of spots of superglue on them. Reassemble and place in a vice for a few mins. Job done .
stephenmx50
Yeah I did think of glueing them but was not sure if it would be strong enough? I thought they might be moulded in from not not glued? Is that how you connect replacement pads into there backings then?
gu trials
pull the material out of the backings, carefully as it will snap, fill the bottom of the backing with strong superglue and put the material back in, put it in a clamp or vise for 5 mins, wipe the glue away from around the sides and it should be ok .
