madmacca Posted March 30, 2011 Report Share Posted March 30, 2011 (edited) water bleed has killed my magura lol i drained the oil out of my magura 07-10 model and bathbled it using the guide was spot on went out last night worked a treat got home put bike away and thismorning the leaver jammed as soon as i pulled lever in and wont return iv took it apart checked piston when finally got it out took 80psi through a footpump to get it unjammed and out i did it in bath so the piston would react like a bullet and be slown down as soon as left the chamber checked it cleaned it n put bk togeather but just doing the same i evan stretched the spring but nothing! dann2707 Posted March 30, 2011 Report Share Posted March 30, 2011 Exact same thing happened to me. Take quite a bit off the piston, so that it falls in and out of the cylinder with ease. Any sign of friction and it getting even slightly stuck take more off. I did this 3 times as I thought I had removed enough but I actually hadn't. Works perfect now with water.
