A friend used clear motor home water line, I think it was maybe 1/2 inch or more. Cut it and then installed with zip ties. Also the threshold strip installed at door ways come in plastic and can be fitted again with zip ties and 2 sided tape. I bought the carbon fiber protector from Tarty.

You could use a lot of things like old tyres, hosepipe parts or that grey foamy stuff you put around pipes (sorry i dont know the name of what it is >_< but it still works) but really a carbon protector is well worth the money. Its great at keeping scratches, marks and dents of the frame, especially if your selling the frame later on, your bound to get more money with a frame with less marks on it ;)

Nice one thanks for the tips and are you thinking of lagging for pipes? That's probably the most male thing I'll say all day lol

ahhh yeah thats the name of it  ive seen my friend use it before, cut it in half and then use some zip ties to keep it in place.
