George6512
Are monty splitters any good and do they inprove your brakes and how do you bleed them ? cheers
Sam T
You bleed them like normal George. Heard they're a pain in the ass to fit though!
isitafox
They can be a pain in the arse to fit if your a bit rough as it's not hard to snap the ends off but if you can fit them ok they're great, especially for routing the hose through the frame. And it means there's no crossover to accidentally snap either!
Danny
Bleeding is a bit different as you need to bleed each slave separately. Note you also need a pair of slaves both with a bleed screw rather than a normal pair (M6/M6 rather than M6/M8).

Not necessarily, if you buy a M8 bolt and cut it down to use essentially as a 2nd bleed bolt you can stick with the original cylinders. CC12345678910
you don't need to change slaves or cut bolts or owt like that. if your bothered about the pressures being equal, cut the line going the m8 side a tad shorter. thats what I did with mine but I snapped the prong being to rough. IMO it shouldn't have prongs but 3 tapped M6 holes so you screw in barbs like in slaves. or is it just me?

I agree with that, i have a monty splitter, unfitted but i can see it shearing off as i try to fit it, might a threaded job just in case :/
